I sent an email to the only address I could find, which was the advertising link. I air independent ads as a federal PAC & am working now on a response ad to the community organizer attacks by the GOP. What you've done is right on. Please send me a note at eugene (at) truthandhope.org

Fighting the muslim rumor...in creative ways

NYTimes has an interesting story about Facebook users and others fighting back against the muslim rumor by changing their middle name to Hussein.
Obama Supporters Take His Middle Name as Their Own
A typical Facebook event encouraging people to change their name to celebrate Obama's birthday.
It's a viral response to a really bad virus.

Easy fix

I've set it up much like The Raw Story, mainly because I'm using a free build that doesn't allow my URL unless I manipulate it with frames.
To link all you have to do is...
Right Click on the "Diary Title" and choose "Copy Link Location"
Then just paste it where ever you wish.
The only other code thing wrong with the free edition from my hoster is that a "link" button isn't built into the comments or diaries. It must be hard coded if you wish to post a link. The code is on the "Special Pages" under "About" on the right colum or here it is too.
The Text To Link
Hope that helps.

Florida is the only area where he is polling well (tied) with Hispanics or Cuaban Americans. I think even that traditional Republican voting group may leave him this year. As for TX, 2016 is a fair prediction. But like you said, this year could speed things up a little becasue of the political environment.

A blogger to blogger question

The url doesn't change when I want to link to a specific post. Is there a way that that can be changed? I'm guessing it will limit the linking done to your site by other bloggers, unless that can be overcome.

Maybe McClatchy News

McClatchy has the best track record of news reporting without Republican bias. USA Today has actually been getting better in recent years but as you see, they still have a ways to go.
McCain has more than a Hispanic problem. He has a problem staying consistent with the platform of John McCain. From what I can see, only the older Cuban crowd - historically Republican - has stayed on board the McCain bus because they're the only Latinos he hasn't thrown under the bus.
Give him time, I say.
I predicted in 2000 that Texas would go blue by 2016 due to Latino voters but McCain may bring even that state close this year, due to the way he panders to the hate-based GOP core.
